PLOT
When Phoebe Stutton was asked to train the new Sophomore cheerleader, the last thing she pictured herself doing was the girl herself. But let’s go back, way back.
Phoebe is your everyday cheerleader. The ultimate cliché. Blonde, beautiful, head cheerleader – all but the quaterback girlfriend. Sure, Connor had hit on her before, but it’s not like she was intrested. There was just a little something about Connor that just didn’t fit on Phoebe’s interests: he was a boy. That’s right, little miss perfect cheerleader was a lesbian. Few people knew, she wasn’t exactly keeping it a secret, but she wasn’t going to join PFLAG or whatever. Her High School was good, she wanted to go to Harvard or Yale after graduation and everything went smoothly. Finally, her Senior year was there and she was going to leave school and her small town in no time. The first morning of school, Phoebe was called to the coach’s office and there she was. The new addition to the cheerleading squad, Mackenzie Langdon. Phoebe was asked to teach Kenzie everything she needed to know to stand out in the squad, because there was a chance of her taking over Phoebe’s spot once she graduated. They agreed to meet at Phoebe’s Tuesday at 5 and that is when all started.
At first there were just compliments. “Keep spinning! Higher, higher! Great!” “Great job, Kenz” “You’re the best, Pheebs” “Nice shirt” “I like your bra, is it Victoria’s Secret?” then the flirting. And one evening they were taking a break from training and they end up making out. The sexual tension was too much, alright?The line was crossed. At first Phoebe was a little confused, but… Why not? That is when Kenzie started to avoid her. First, she cancelled their trainings for the rest of the week, then she avoided it at school… Phoebe was even more confused now, what had she done?
